Roofing Options

We offer both shingle roofing and metal roofing.

Shingle Roofing is one of the most widely used roofing materials in the United States because they’re simple to install and they deliver consistent quality.

Metal roofing is a great option since it's durable, offers great wind resistance, and can save a lot of energy.

Honest & Fair Pricing

We don't offer any cheap roofing system that won't last

Yet we also won't sell any overpriced roof material. The shingles and metal we recommend have consistent quality for a fair price.

Clean Work

ProCon Exteriors is proud to be a part of the New Roof, No Mess program.

So when our local roofers go to work, we’ll make sure that none of your landscaping is affected. Our roofers will work hard and will also make sure that your home is kept clean. The main way we do this is by using the Equipter to navigate around the roof, providing an efficient and clean work method for our roofers.

We Know Our Roofing Products

We’re proud to offer CertainTeed shingles and Premier Metal products both of which are located in Ohio.

Shingle Roofing

The most common roofing materials in the U.S. are asphalt shingles. We believe there are numerous reasons to consider asphalt shingles, including:

  • Affordability
  • Incredible durability with extended warranties
  • Low maintenance
  • Enhanced curb appeal

There are two main styles of asphalt fiberglass shingles:

Dimensional shingles are often the best buy, offering a lower laminated layer that gives the shingle the “dimensional” appearance, and featuring a 50-year warranty in most cases. There are typically at least two styles within this category, ranging from standard to higher-end designer or decorative styles.

Three-tab shingles are a lower-cost style. They are named accordingly because of the cut-outs that give the appearance of three-tabs. These shingles often feature a 25-year warranty.

Metal Roofing

Metal roofing has experienced a resurgence in popularity throughout the US, due in part to aesthetics and long-term cost savings. These materials can include steel, aluminum, copper, and various metal blends.

There are three basic categories of metal roofing:

A corrugated metal roof (or “sheet metal roof”) is the more economical metal roof and also available in many colors and profiles. While it is least expensive of the metal options, the standard 29-gauge corrugated has a 40-year rust-free warranty.

A standing seam metal roof is characterized by metal panels running from the ridge to the eave of the roof.  With this style of metal roofing, there are no exposed fasteners. Standing seam roofing is available in multiple colors and profiles for both commercial and residential structures.  The standard 24 to 26 gauge roofing offers one of the strongest warranties (in its class) on the market.

A tile designed metal roof is often featured in ceramic tile, shake, shingle, or slate patterns to replicate the authentic counterparts.  However, these designs offer the benefits of other metal roofing categories.

Why choose a metal roof? Metal roofs are increasingly popular for a variety of reasons:

  • Up to 35% and 40% savings, respectively, on insurance and energy costs (per the Metal Roofing Alliance)
  • Longevity and durability, as it stands up to shrinkage, cracking, high winds, heavy snow loads, splitting, burning and rotting
  • Availability of multiple styles, designs, and profiles to match nearly every structure’s design and aesthetics
